Alles begann mit einer Idee… Aus der Überlegung, die eSport Begeisterten der Region zusammen zubringen entstand am 24. Mai 2016 der Magdeburg eSports e.V.. Elf Gründungsmitglieder sorgten dafür, dass aus einer losen Verbindung ein „echter“ Verein entstehen konnte. Im Vordergrund stand es dabei, eine nachvollziehbare transparente Struktur, rechtliche Sicherheit und eine gute Sichtbarkeit als lokaler eSport Verein zu schaffen.
